In a grand celebration of unity and cultural pride, TEAM celebrated its 70th Anniversary with a prestigious Gala Dinner on 8 August 2025. Hosted at the Grand Imperial Restaurant @ The Pinnacle Sunway, the event carried the theme “Colourful Heritage of Malaysia,” paying tribute to Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity and the collaborative spirit of TEAM.
Organized under the leadership of Mr Leonard Chew together with his team, the Gala Dinner was graced by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, along with leaders from MTIB, MTC, MTCC, the Forestry Department, MATRADE, MTA, TIF together with eight timber associations, media partners, and TEAM members.
TEAM extends its deepest gratitude to all sponsors of the event, with special acknowledgement to MTC, MTA and TIF. Not to be forgotten are the sponsors with special collaborations, Hap Seng Star (Mercedes) and C.K.L Group (Lim Tayar), and industry members who travelled from all states of the country to come together to make this 70th Anniversary a memorable event.
