A delegation of 26 people from TEAM participated in a Business Mission to Taiwan. The mission was led by the Organizing Chairman Mr Chris Tan and the President Mr Chua Song Fong, and was a good number of TEAM members.
From 20 to 21 April 2023, the delegation visited Wood Taiwan 2023, Taiwan’s International Woodworking Machinery Show, in which the latest technology in woodworking machinery was showcased to visitors from all over the world.

Taiwanese Woodworking Machinery is well known for its reliability and longevity, and investing in such machines will be a great way to boost productivity and reduce dependency on manual labour.
“The technologies for woodworking machinery are advancing so fast that older machines have to make way for the newer machines in order to improve productivity. We have to think whether it is worth investing in machines like these since newer and more advanced technologies are always on the horizon. The machines from Taiwan are of good quality in which relatively they come with a higher price.” – as commented by Mr Choo Tuan Yong of Supreme Fame Sdn Bhd.
The delegation visited the premises of several well known woodworking machinery producers in Taiwan, namely Carpenter Machinery Co. Ltd,, Gau Jing Machinery Industrial Co. Ltd., Furnimate Wood Working Machinery Company Co. Ltd., Jun Shiau Machinery Co. Ltd, Shen Ko Machine Co. Ltd, and Sheng Yuan Machinery Co. Ltd in Taichung to further understand further.
The delegation continued to journey down south to Kaohsiung City to meet Committee Members of the National Union of Timber Trade Association of R.O.C.
