The Timber Exporters’ Association of Malaysia (TEAM) successfully convened its 2026 Welcoming Dinner for New Members on Friday, 21 August 2026, at the Sunset Terrace, Sunway Resort Hotel, Subang Jaya.
The event brought together a broad representation of stakeholders from across the timber industry, including producers, manufacturers, exporters, traders, sawmillers, plantation owners, logistics specialists, and service providers.
Proceedings commenced at 6.00 p.m. with guest registration, followed by Opening Remarks delivered by the Organising Chairman, Mr Tay Yi Wei. Guests were then hosted to an international buffet dinner.
A corporate video presentation provided new members with an overview of TEAM’s vision, mission, and ongoing initiatives. This was complemented by a Welcoming Address from TEAM President, Mr Chua Song Fong, who emphasized the Association’s commitment to fostering collaboration and strengthening the timber sector.
The programme included an ice‑breaking session, during which new members introduced their businesses and areas of expertise. The evening concluded with a networking session, marking the occasion as one of fellowship and shared purpose.
